STATE COLLEGE – Clearfield County is under a wind advisory until 7 p.m. Monday evening, according to the National Weather Service.
Sustained winds from the west will increase to 25 to 35 miles-per-hour behind a cold front in the morning and continue throughout the day. Wind-gusts between 45 –and 50-m.p.h are possible through much of the day and into the early evening.
According to NWS, a wind advisory means that strong, gusty winds will make driving difficult, especially in exposed locations. The winds could also cause some minor damage.
Snow accumulation is also expected.
