CLEARFIELD – On Wednesday Chief Jas Catherman and President Mike Errigo of the Lawrence Township VFD #1 presented a check for $700 to Mike McMullen, program manager of Big Brothers Big Sisters. Looking on are Tim Spingola, Vista volunteer and Case Manager Bob Dornan.
The funds were raised by the department’s auxiliary from 50-50 drawings held during the weekly bingos held at Lawrence Hall. The funds have been earmarked to purchase Christmas presents for Big Brother Big Sister clients/families.
