CLEARFIELD – The Lawrence Township Police Department reported a missing golden retriever in the Coal Hill area of Clearfield.
According to police the dog’s name is Sammy and is a brownish/reddish color and that Sammy is wearing a red collar. Sammy is 5 years old and is tattooed on the left inner thigh. The tattoo contains a series of numbers and provides proof as to the the dog’s owner.
Sammy has been missing since Nov. 23 and he is well loved and sadly missed by his family, according to police. If anyone has seen Sammy or knows his whereabouts they are asked to contact the Lawrence Township Police Department at 765-1533 or the dog enforcement officer.
