DUBOIS – The DuBois City Police Department is investigating the death of Brockway resident James R. Morris.
On Nov. 24 at 12:22 a.m. the DuBois City Police Department was dispatched to the first block of Olive Avenue for a man lying in the grass next to a sidewalk. Officers arrived on scene and discovered that the indeed lying in the grass unresponsive.
Officers could detect shallow breathing but could not detect a pulse. As CPR was initiated ambulance personnel arrived and started providing care to Morris, 29. Morris was then transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center emergency room for further treatment.
The DuBois City Police Department processed the scene and were unable to find any signs of suspicious circumstances. The investigation is ongoing in cooperation with the Clearfield County Coroner’s Office, pending further medical and toxicological results.
