CLEARFIELD – A public meeting concerning the tolling of Interstate 80 will be held at Clearfield Area High School Wednesday evening.
The meeting is sponsored by the Penna Turnpike Commission. The purposes of the meeting are to:
-Explain transportation funding needs in Pennsylvania,
-Summarize the provisions of Act 44 to increase transportation revenues,
-Introduce and explain the I-80 tolling project, and
-Provide an opportunity for the public to ask questions and provide input to the project team.
Open house displays and information will be available any time from 4 to 8 p.m. Presentations will occur at 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
