Campman Named Co-Player of the Week; Hipps Makes Honor Roll

SHIPPENVILLE – A pair of quarterbacks who led their teams to victory Friday night are the RRR Roadhouse D9sports.com District 9 Football Co-Players of the Week for Week Nine of the 2007 season.

Clearfield’s Jarrin Campman and Otto-Eldred’s Travis Bair share the award this week after each put on highlight reel performances in their respective team’s wins.

Campman, who has earned at least a share of the award for the third straight week, had a monster night in Clearfield’s 49-26 win over visiting Huntingdon. He had a hand in all seven Bison touchdowns throwing for three, running for three and returning an interception for a score. He finished the night 19-for-27 passing for 255 yards and three touchdowns while running 19 times for 76 yards and three scores. He is the first player to win the award three weeks in a row since Clearfield’s Dave Richards took four straight awards in 2002. Clearfield players have now won 13 Player of the Week honors, the most of any team in District 9.
