Scenic Flights of PA Wilds Now Available at DuBois Airport

FALLS CREEK – There’s nothing quite like the delightful chill that comes to the air as Mother Nature shifts her closet to the jeweled tones of autumn.

In the past, those looking to get a better view of the leaves in Clearfield and surrounding counties have been limited to checking them out in the car or with the use of hiking boots. A few took to the air to see things that way.

Now, thanks to an effort by the DuBois Regional Airport, anyone can do so.

The airport is offering scenic one-hour flights ranging from $135 to $150 for up to three people. Some flights are self-structured, while others follow a pre-planned path and include an informational brochure.

For more information, call the airport at 328-5311.
