I-80 Lane Restriction Ends, Work to Carry into October

CLEARFIELD – Restrictions on Interstate 80 westbound lane restrictions from mile marker 138 near the Viaduct Bridges to the 133 Kylertown exit were removed Friday.

Through early October, crews will be working at various locations eastbound and westbound from mile marker 138 (Viaduct Bridge) to the 120 Clearfield exit. Work includes crossover paving, installation of raised pavement markers, and shoulder rumble strips.

All work will be done during daylight hours with lane closures as needed. Motorists may experience delays.

The Pennsylvania state police will be on site to assist with traffic control through the work zones.

The contractor on the $12.3 million project is New Enterprise Stone and Lime Co. Inc.

PennDOT reminds drivers to move through all work zones with caution, obey posted speed limits and always buckle-up.
