CLEARFIELD – Employees of the state Department of Transportation District 2-0 in Clearfield were cleared out of their building on Daisy Street Extension for about 20 minutes Wednesday morning.
Marla Fannin, community relations coordinator for the district, reported that a leak in an external gas valve caused fumes to enter the building.
Emergency crews were quick to respond to the scene.
The leak was repaired, and workers were able to return to the building.
