CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County DUI Strike Force conducted driving under the influence checkpoints and roving DUI patrols looking for those under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances last weekend.
Police officers from Clearfield Borough, Curwensville Borough, DuBois City, Lawrence Townhip and Sandy Township participated in teh detail.
Officers arrested one person for DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia, issued three traffic citations, two non-traffic citations and 12 warnings.
The checkpoints and roving patrols will continue weekly in Clearfield County through 2007.
