CLEARFIELD – Reserved seating tickets for the Big Rig Truck Pull will go on sale Wednesday.
The pull will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Clearfield Fair Grounds as part of the Big Rig Expo being held Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $13 each and can be purchased via telephone at 765-1749 or by visiting the ticket office window at the fairgrounds. Tickets will be available for purchase from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday; Friday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Big Rig Series Truck Pull features 20,000 lb Street Legal Tri-Axle Dumps – Open Class, Trophy to Champion; 20,000 lb Street Legal Semi Trucks – Open to Local Area Trucks Only, Trophy to Champion; 20,000 lb Hot Stock Semi Trucks – Open Class, Trophy to Champion and Runner-Up. A CDL License and inspection is required for all classes. Registrations will be accepted on the day of the event. A rain date of Sept. 9th is scheduled in the event of bad weather.
Admission to the expo is free and opens on Friday at 11 a.m. The expo will feature Show Trucks; CMN Light the Night Parade; Make-a-Wish Convoy; entertainment by GM Patterson and Joey Holiday as well as food booths, employment opportunity booths, craft booths, and after market parts. The Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association will also be on hand accepting new memberships along with their OODIA Nascar Simulator.
Truck owners can register for the truck show on either day of the event up until 10 a.m. on Saturday for $20. Judging will be on Saturday with trophies being awarded at 4:30 p.m. Each truck can only be entered in one class.
