Clearfield Man Waives Hearings on Camp Burglaries

CLEARFIELD – A 19-year-old Clearfield man accused of burglarizing four camps waived his right to preliminary hearings on Wednesday.

Brian Allen Kline is charged with four counts of burglary, four counts of theft by unlawful taking, four counts of criminal conspiracy and related charges.

According to court records a state trooper executed a search warrant on Kline’s residence on June 23. Kline was found sleeping in a bedroom. He was Mirandized and agreed to cooperate with police. The report states that Kline pointed to some items and that he related they were stolen. These items included a mounted pheasant, a mounted trout, a .22 caliber bolt-action rifle, a scope, several propane fuel packs, Coleman lanterns and a DVD/VCR. He told the trooper that the items had been stolen from camps in the New Millport area.

The records stated that Kline admitted to four camp burglaries along with a co-defendant.

Kline is free on unsecured bail.
