DUBOIS – A DuBois man who allegedly punched and kicked his live-in girlfriend waived his right to a preliminary hearing.
Police allege that Denis Wolfgang, 29, assaulted his girlfriend on Aug. 5. The woman was able to flee to a neighbor’s house, but not before she suffered several injuries.
The woman’s eye was swollen shut, and her hand was swollen and bruised. She also had blood on her face, arms and clothing.
Wolfgang is in Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $100,000 straight bail. He is charged with aggravated assault and other counts.
