DUBOIS – A DuBois man waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges that he conspired to rob the All Washed Up Auto Spa on Liberty Boulevard.
Shawn R. Carr, 24, allegedly went to the car wash on the afternoon of June 23.
Carr washed his vehicle and then went into the business’s office. A woman who was in the vehicle lured an attendant away from the office while Carr made his entry.
The attendant then returned, meeting Carr at the office area.
Carr is alleged to have pushed the attendant before fleeing the scene.
Court documents state that the car wash was able to provide police with video footage of those involved.
Carr is in Jefferson County Jail on an unrelated matter.
He faces charges including burglary, criminal trespass and harassment. It is unknown whether the woman involved will be charged.
