CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Hospital invites individuals with diabetes and their caregivers to learn more about the disease at a Diabetes Health Fair, scheduled for Monday from 2-6 p.m. in the back of the hospital’s cafeteria.
Representatives from the following companies will have diabetes-related educational displays: Abbott, LifeScan, Bayer, NovoNordisk, Clear Care, Sanofi-Aventis, Clearfield Hospital Dietary Department and Clearfield Hospital Diabetes Education.
According to Anna Anna, RN, manager of Clearfield Hospital’s Wound Clinic and diabetes educator, the health fair would be beneficial to not only newly diagnosed diabetics, but may also benefit patients who have been dealing with diabetes for years.
