Sugarland to Sweeten the Granstand Stage Wednesday

CLEARFIELD – An Atlanta-based trio known for crossing the charts will appear in Clearfield Wednesday night.

Tickets for the 8 p.m. show can be purchased at the Clearfield County Fair ticket office under the grandstand beginning at noon.

Sugarland’s second CD is due out in the fall, and fans are expecting more from the band that brought them hits such as “Baby Girl,” “Just Might (Make Me Believe)” and “Something More.”

When the group first formed, a pact was made. No more clubs; big venues were the goal.

Kristian Bush, who plays guitar with Sugarland, said, “We thought, ‘If we’re going to do this, let’s go all the way. Let’s hit it out of the park. We know what we’re doing and how to have fun doing it.’ We thought, ‘Let’s go play arenas, let’s make a record with 10 singles. Let’s do the impossible, it can’t hurt to try.'”
