CLEARFIELD – Comic book icons came to life Tuesday at the Clearfield County Fair during Kid’s Day.
Spider-Man, Storm, the Incredible Hulk and the villain the Green Goblin instructed children in attendance about the benefits of exercise, how to deal with bullies and strangers.
The heroes told the children that when dealing with bullies to walk away and tell an adult. For strangers, the heroes told kids to say no, go and tell an adult.
Young Lenny Swisher the III of Clearfield got to see his favorite hero, Spider-Man.
Josh and Brandon Knepp were also pleased with the heroes.
“It was teaching you stuff,” said Josh Knepp of the event. His favorite hero is the Hulk.
“I liked the Green Goblin,” said Brandon Knepp.
