CURWENSVILLE – The author of a Christmas play that has been running since 1960 has died.
Laura D. Wright, 95, wrote the “Search for Peace,” and was the original director of the production that has continued to run for nearly 50 years at the Curwensville United Methodist Church.
In addition to her play, Wright’s credits include work with many groups such as the Curwensville Historical Society.
