Wiretapped Phone Conversations Heard at Prisk Trial

CLEARFIELD – Wiretapped phone messages between Robert Prisk and a confidential informant were played to the jury during the third day of Prisk’s drug trial.

Both the judge and jury indicated that the conversations were hard to understand or hear at times.

Agent Albert Adams of the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General’s Bureau of Narcotics Investigation and Drug Control testified that the phone calls were made to set up controlled buys between the CI and Prisk. While no overt drug terminology was used, Adams indicated that certain phrases or words were coded to avoid suspicion .

Attorney General Tom Corbett said in a press conference nearly one year ago that a grand jury found that Prisk used his garage and home to sell, store and use marijuana and cocaine. He also is alleged to have used his truck to transport drugs. Prisk was one of seven men charged in the case.
