CCRTA Begins Work on 2008 Visitor Guide

CLEARFIELD – Staff at the Clearfield County Recreation and Tourism Authority have started to compile information for the 2008 county visitor guide.

The new guide will see some changes, including a return to the 2006 layout style, which categorized information by amenity, activity and attraction, and will include a coupon section featuring specials offered by businesses having partnership agreements with CCRTA.

Several features are planned, and two road trips to drive visitors through the region will be included.

CCRTA needs as much information as possible about 2008 events. Larger events that have the potential to bring tourists to the area will be included in the guide; other events will be placed on the Web site calendar and included in smaller event listings which are produced and updated more frequently.
