CLEARFIELD – The Clear Centre Swimming Pool in Osceola Mills and PennDOT’s Highway Safety Program will sponsor a free bicycle safety program at 10 a.m. on June 9 at the swimming pool. This bike safety program is free and open to children ages 5-14.
This interactive program teaches kids about bicycle safety. A video that reviews the rules of safe bike riding will be shown and all boys and girls in attendance will learn the importance of wearing a helmet when riding a bike.
Weather permitting, the children will have the opportunity to test their bike riding skills on an obstacle course. All children are encouraged to bring their bike helmets so they can participate in the helmet check and ostacle course portion of the safety program. All participants will also be issued a photo bike driver’s license.
