Night Paving to Begin Tuesday on U.S. 219

CLEARFIELD – Night paving on U.S. Route 219 in the Falls Creek area will begin Tuesday. Work will take place from approximately 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. to accommodate Interstate 80-related traffic volumes.

Work will take place at the intersection of U.S. 219 and state Route 830, adjacent to the Sheetz convenience store. Lights will be in place and the intersection traffic signal will be flashing on caution during working hours. Motorists may encounter minor delays.

This work is part of a $3 million job along U.S. 219 that began in 2006.

H.R.I. Inc. of State College is the contractor on the project.

PennDOT expects work to be complete by June 1, weather permitting.

PennDOT reminds drivers to move through work zones with caution, obey posted speed limits and to always buckle-up.
