CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Borough Council approved the sale of the Fourth Ward fire hall at their regular meeting Thursday night. The vote was unanimous.
Council opened bids during a work session on May 10 from Samuel J. Davis and Robert F. Greenland. Greenland came in with the high bid of $45,000. The sale will take time to finalize.
Last month Clearfield Borough voted to sell the Second Ward fire hall to Clearfield Electric for $37,000. Council members Barry Reddinger, Fourth Ward, and Joan Robinson McMillen, First Ward were absent from Thursday’s meeting.
