Easter Bone Hunt Expected to be a Waggin’ Good Time

CLEARFIELD – The fifth annual Mountain Laurel Kennel Club Easter Bone Hunt is set for April 21 in the Clearfield Driving Park Grove with registration beginning at 1 p.m.

The hunt will commence at 2 p.m. in four categories, puppies and small dogs, medium dogs, large dogs and old or infirm dogs. Prizes will be awarded in each group, plus three large door prizes will be presented. All dogs will receive a goodie bag of treats at registration.

The club partnered with residents of Windy Hill Village in Philipsburg, who filled the Easter eggs that will be hidden, and residents of Ridgeview Eldercare and Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville, who made the goodie bags.

A parade, led by E. Bunny himself, will conclude the festivities.

All dogs must be on a leash. Only one person may hunt for eggs along with his or her dog. Rain date for the event is April 28. For more information, call 765-6352.
