CLEARFIELD – A man was assaulted Friday while walking in the downtown area Friday, according to Clearfield Borough Police.
Police released information Monday morning regarding the 11:30 p.m. Friday assault that happened in the area of North Fourth Street.
A black car reportedly stopped and two males exited the car and assaulted the man by striking him in the face and head. The pair then fled the area.
Police report that the alleged victim did not know the two males.
Both males were described as being young. One was about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and wearing a black sweatshirt. One was about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and wearing a white T-shirt.
