U.S. 219 Work Begins Monday

CLEARFIELD – Work on U.S. Route 219 in Clearfield County will begin Monday and stretch from the village of McGees Mills to the village of Burnside.

Work will take place during daylight hours as crews perform roadway repairs, drainage updates, resurfacing, and guide rail installation.

Motorists will encounter alternating traffic patterns, with one-lane work zones controlled by flaggers. Drivers may experience short delays.

The contractor on the $2.5 million job is H.R.I. Inc. of State College. PennDOT expects the job to be complete in August.

PennDOT reminds drivers to move through work zones with caution, obey posted speed limits and to always buckle-up.
