DUBOIS – A stroke support group, sponsored by The Rehabilitation Center of DuBois Regional Medical Center, will meet Monday at 1 p.m. in DRMC West in the fifth floor rehab day room
The speaker will be Barbara Averill, a former rehab patient and stroke survivor. She has a story to tell on how she not only survived a devastating stroke but also how she copes with everyday life and the challenges she faces.
There is no charge, and the group is open to the public. The meetings will be targeted toward people who have suffered a stroke, brain injury or neurological condition however ANYONE is WELCOME to attend.
