Osceola Mills Pool, VFW Park Vandalized

OSCEOLA MILLS – In what may or may not be related incidents, the Osceola Mills Pool and the Osceola Mills VFW park were both vandalized between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

According to a report from the Decatur Township Police Department, the lifeguard chairs were thrown into the main pool, a window was broken out of the office and a clock had been removed from the office and thrown into the pool. A decorative frog was broken off the edge of the children’s pool and thrown into the main pool, a picnic table was pulled loose from its moorings and thrown into the children’s pool and a lamp shade was removed from a lamp post and thrown to the ground.

That same night or morning, someone removed a flag and rope from the flag pole and a cement monument was broken in the VFW park.
