CLEARFIELD – The primary election getting nearer, and that means ballots need to be put together.
To that end, the Clearfield County Board of Elections held the drawing the determine the order of the candidates’ names under the contested position they are running for.
Normally the Clearfield County Commissioners draw lots for absent candidates. This year, with Mark McCracken and Rex Read both running for re-election on the Democrat ticket. That left them unable to perform that duty, so Dave McNaul and Alan Bietz took their place. Clearfield County Commissioner Mike Lytle, who is not running for re-election, drew for absent Republicans.
