PHILIPSBURG – Decatur Township Police Department is investigating the theft of a money bag from the S&S Combi Wash on Irvin Drive on Sunday.
According to the report, the theft occurred between 3 and 3:30 p.m. The bag is green in color with an M&T Bank logo printed on it. The exact amount of cash taken has yet to be determined, though it was reported to be in denominations of $1, $5, $10, and $20 bills.
A black Pontiac Trans Am was seen leaving the area around the time of the theft and police would like to talk to the driver as a possible witness. Anyone with information on the identity of the driver or who may have other information is asked to contact Decatur Township Police at 339-6775.
