Incest Charge Waived to Court by Clearfield Man

CLEARFIELD – Incest and assault charges against a Clearfield man will move on to the Clearfield County Court of Common Pleas after he waived his right to a preliminary hearing Wednesday at the Clearfield County Jail.

George P. Queen, 40, was charged with incest and simple assault after a relative of Queen’s called police on Dec. 7, stating that they had been punched in the eye by Queen.

The complainant said Queen had sent a text message earlier asking about a certain type of sexual act. That, the alleged victim said, is what caused Queen to begin to fight.

The complainant also admitted to being involved sexually with Queen.

On Dec. 15, police interviewed Queen who admitted to punching the complainant. He said after the alleged victim turned 18, they began to have a sexual relationship. Queen admitted to at least eight occasions, and he also made a written statement to authorities.

Queen is free on unsecured bail.
