RUSH TOWNSHIP – A Bellefonte man was taken to the hospital following a snowmobile accident on Saturday.
Craig Church, 41, and Paul Anderson of Osceola Mills were traveling south on North Run Road when Church fell off of his snowmobile. Anderson was following and could not stop in time to avoid Church, running over and coming to rest on top of him.
Church was taken from the scene by ambulance to Mid State Airport and air-lifted to Altoona Regional Medical System for injuries to his legs and abdomen. Anderson was not injured.
The investigation is ongoing.
