ST. MARYS — Jesse Bosnik scored 25 points as Elk County Catholic bounced back from Friday\’s one-point loss to DuBois Central Catholic with a 63-43 win over Clearfield in District 9 League boys basketball action Tuesday night.
Josh Salter added 11 points for the Crusaders, who led 38-19 at the half en route to their ninth league victory without a loss. They are 17-1 overall.
The Bisons (9-8, 3-5) were led by James Zimmerman\’s 14 points.
Clearfield will host Bradford (9-9, 7-3) in another District 9 League game Friday night.
Elk County Catholic also won the junior varsity game, 44-34. Matt Shiner and Cruise Kerr accounted for all but two of Clearfield\’s points with 21 and 11, respectively.
