RELOAD: Week of Jan. 22, 2007

It was a busy week in Clearfield County. A lot of things happened this week that don’t normally happen in a rural county. Residents saw an abduction, a double fatal fire and secretary of the DEP visiting the county.

Clearfield County also read about gate price changes at the Clearfield County Fair, an old favorite changing hands and the possibility of new business in town.

If there was a story that you didn’t see but felt should have made the Weekly Reload, feel free to send us an e-mail and let us know. We love hearing from you.

Get ready …here it is …the GantDaily Weekly Reload.

Richard A. Rauch, 47 of Hyde, and Randall C. Bolton, 41 of Clearfield, are alleged to have kidnapped a 28-year-old Houtzdale man from his home at gunpoint Monday at about 8 p.m.
