PHILIPSBURG – A motor-vehicle accident in Philipsburg on Monday left one pedestrian injured.
According to Philipsburg-based state police, a vehicle driven by a 33-year-old Philipsburg man was traveling west on Second Street. At this point, 79 year old Robert Retorick of Philipsburg is reported to have walked in front of the vehicle. Retorick was struck by the front part of the vehicle and hit the windshield as well.
Retorick was taken to Clearfield Hospital for treatment. The extent of his injuries is unknown.
