Philipsburg Junior High Vandalized, Police Investigate

PHILIPSBURG – State police at Philipsburg are investigating vandalism that happened at the Philipsburg Junior High School overnight Thursday.

Someone went to the south side of the building and spray-painted “school is bull****” and “ksk.” Police say they then went to the east side of the building and spray-painted a silver “X” over the the No Trespassing sign.

Before leaving the area, those responsible went to a neighbor’s house and cut a set of Christmas lights.

Police estimate damage in the case at about $303.
