CURWENSVILLE – A fire that was ruled an arson by a state police fire marshal is currently being investigated by the Curwensville Borough Police Department.
The fire was set at around 2 a.m. on Dec. 7 at the 624-626 State St. Duplex. The duplex was virtually gutted, while the residence next door, 620 State St. was moderately damaged when the fire spread.
Police are asking anyone with information or witnessed anyone around that area around 1 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 7 to contact them. The number is 236-3858. Callers will remain anonymous if that is their wish.
