Noise Complaint Leads Police to Suspected Drugs

CLEARFIELD – Charges could be filed against two Clearfield men after police responded to a noise complaint early Friday morning.

At about 12:45 a.m., Clearfield Borough Police were called to an East Cherry Street residence for a loud noise. As a result of the call, police said that two Clearfield men will be arrested for possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.

Clearfield Borough Police Chief Jeff Rhone said the drugs must now be analyzed by a lab to determine whether they are, in fact, illegal substances and their weights. Rhone said, “Once the substances can be identified, the appropriate charges will be filed.”

Rhone could say that numerous types of drugs were reportedly recovered, along with several different types of drug paraphernalia.
