CLEARFIELD – Two polling places will merge for the Nov. 7 election.
The Clearfield County Commissioners recently voted to merge the Sandy-Falls Creek No. 2 poling place with the Sandy-Falls Creek No. 1 polling place.
This change was necessary because the former poling place was located in a private residence, and such locations are not permitted under the Helping Americans Vote Act. HAVA is the same legislation that required Clearfield and other counties to switch to different voting methods, such as touch-screen voting.
The new polling place will be at the Adrian Fire Co. in DuBois.
