CSI: Clearfield Preps for Next Episode

CLEARFIELD – Who kidnapped two children and demanded millions from their wealthy parents? Join your fellow crime scene investigators at the Joseph & Elizabeth Shaw Public Library in solving the mystery — Heavy Metal Kidnapping. Investigators must accomplish nine tasks and carefully examine six clues in order to rescue the children and capture the kidnapper.

The next episode of CSI: Clearfield will be held on Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. and will last about an hour and a half. The library will be officially closed to regular business during the event.

“We will open the doors to investigators at 6:30 p.m.,” stated Paula Marshall, library director and event coordinator, “The evening promises to be enjoyable.”

Any interested young adults ages 12 and up should stop by the library by Nov. 8 to register and pick up their ticket for the CSI: Clearfield event.

“Anyone that would like to come to CSI: Clearfield must be registered and have a ticket,” shared Marshall, “Also, the reverse side of the ticket is a permission slip that the parent must sign in order for the young adult to attend.”

The library is pleased to have James A. Naddeo & Associates as a sponsor for the CSI: Clearfield refreshments and door prizes and to have Northwest Savings Bank as the grand prize sponsor for the CSI winner. All participants will have the opportunity to register for the door prizes and to enjoy pizza, soda and snacks.

The Shaw Public Library is open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
