Hyde — The Clearfield Junior High football teams played ungracious hosts to the visiting Altoona Roosevelt teams on Wednesday night at the Bison Sports Complex.

The 8th grade squad posted their first shut out of the season by a 12-0 final score.

Derek Morgan scored both touchdowns for the Bisons, one a 12 yard run around the left end in the 3rd quarter, the second being a 32 yard run around the right end in the 4th quarter.

Both 2-point conversion attempts fell just short of the goal line.
