PENFIELD – A 67-year old Penfield woman was injured in an automobile accident that occurred on Thursday evening on state Route 255 in Huston Township.
According to state police the accident occurred when the woman reportedly sideswiped a 46-year old Aliquippa woman. After impact, the Aliquippa woman’s vehicle traveled off the west berm and turned onto its side. The Penfield woman’s car also traveled off the west berm.
The Penfield woman was taken to Conemaugh Vally Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries. The Aliquippa woman reportedly received no injuries.
Police were assisted by Penfield Fire Department.
