FRENCHVILLE – A Frenchville man had to be extricated from his truck after an accident Thursday in Covington Township.
Joseph Dovalla, 66, was traveling on Frenchville Road at about 7 p.m. Thursday when he did not round a sharp right turn. Dovalla’s truck then struck a tree and rolled onto its driver’s side. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
Dovalla had to be extricated from his vehicle by responding fire personnel. State police at Clearfield did not say where Dovalla was taken for his injuries, so an an update on his condition was not available.
