GRAMPIAN – State police report that an accidental fire occurred in at the residence of Dennis Graham and Sonya Tobias in Grampian on Sunday.
The investigation revealed that the fire originated at the base of a flue for a wood burner in the kitchen. The external wall of the residence was ignited accidentally due to faulty workmanship in construction of the base of the flue which allowed falling ash to come into contact with the wooden siding.
Damage is estimated at $3,200.
