CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Volunteer Fire Department is inviting everyone in the area to join in Fire Safety Saturday this weekend.
The event will be held at the Clearfield Driving Park from noon until 4 p.m.
There will be fire truck rides and rides in the aerial truck along with fun for all ages.
The department invites everyone to meet the men and woman who protect your community from fire.
Also available will be demonstrations where attendees can see what it is like to be in a smoke-filled building. The firefighters will be taking people into a building filled with smoke from a smoke machine.
Smokey the Fire Dog will be on hand to greet the children, and Smokey Bear will join in the fun, too.
