DUBOIS – Support staff for the DuBois Area School District are scheduled to take to the picket lines Thursday morning.
Aides, ranging from teacher’s to nurse’s aides, as well as secretaries, are planned to go on strike Thursday morning, according to a release from the DuBois Education Support Professional Association on Tuesday.
The union and school district have been working toward a contract resolution for three years now, according to both sides.
The school board as well as the district superintendent stated that they play to keep school in session.
