PHILIPSBURG – A 6-year-old Philipsburg girl was treated at Clearfield Hospital Wednesday afternoon after she was struck by a car.
State police at Philipsburg said Laurie A. Fenush of Philipsburg was traveling south on Hemlock Street in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County, at about 3:25 p.m. Wednesday when a girl on a bicycle entered the roadway. The girl struck the driver’s side of Fenush’s car.
The girl was not wearing a helmet, according to police, and she suffered minor injuries. Fenush was wearing a seat belt.
Police did not release the name of the girl.
