CLEARFIELD – Who makes your favorite chicken wings?
Is it the combo sauce from Legend’s Bar and Grill or hot from R-Bar?
Both of these local restaurants and more will be put to the test this weekend as the Clearfield Jaycees host their sixth annual Wing Expo from 2:30-5 p.m. at the Expo II building in the Clearfield Driving Park.
Aunt Mary’s Place, TA’s Tavern, The Alley Popper, Railroad Street Taven, Time Square, Adam’s Golden Grille, MoJo’s, Electric Avenue and the Smoke House are all scheduled to attend and bring their favorite sauces for expo attendees to sample.
Who has the best? That will be up to the people to decide with their votes.
Tickets are available in advance at each participant and Dinger’s Grand Slam Grille and Groggery on Nichols Street in Clearfield for $12, or call 592-4428. Tickets will also be sold at the door for $15.
The ticket includes all the wings you can eat, refreshments provided by Errigo’s Distributing and entertainment by Matt Day.
All monies raised during the event benefit the Jaycees’ efforts to help area children.
