CLEARFIELD – One month and 17 days have passed since an arsonist lit a fire at the home of Mark and Kerri Casteel on Clover Hill Road in Lawrence Township.
In that time, police have been investigating, and law enforcement officials have turned to the public to find out more about who caused the an estimated $500,000 in damage.
Clearfield County District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr. said earlier this month that a combined reward of up to $6,000 has been offered for information leading to the arrest of the person or people responsible for the Aug. 12 early morning arson fire.
