WOODLAND – Pennsylvania State police Clearfield report that Tina Louise Smith, 43 of Grampian, died as a result of a motor-vehicle accident that occurred on Monday at 11:11 a.m.
Smith was traveling west on Main Street in Woodland when she exited the roadway, sideswiping another vehicle. Smith then continued north, exiting the roadway further before striking the driver’s side rear dual tires of another vehicle.
After striking that vehicle, the rear of Smith’s vehicle spun clockwise, coming to rest facing northwest.
Smith was transported to Clearfield Hospital for treatment prior to being flown to UPMC in Pittsburgh. She was treated for head injuries prior to being pronounced deceased by the attending physician at 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
